Changelog
What's new in LineChange.
v1.2
August 2026Five languages, shot handedness, and names said right
- LineChange now speaks five languages — English, French, Swedish, Finnish, and Czech — with a language picker on every public page.
- Shot handedness (L/R) on every player, shown on the line sheet, the roster card, and the roster table. It's picked up automatically when you import a roster, and labeled "Catches" for goalies.
- Pronunciation guides are now printed, not just spoken. A per-game toggle adds a phonetic line under each name on the line sheet — off by default, so your bench copy stays clean and the press box copy has what it needs. You can also see and edit every guide at a glance from the roster table.
- Fixed: exports were quietly cutting off the bottom of larger lineups. Any sheet with a fourth forward line or a third defense pair was losing its footer, game notes, and sponsor logo from both the PDF and the image — now the whole sheet scales to fit the page instead.
- Bigger tap targets on mobile for the header and language controls, and roster import no longer stores a position the roster view can't show back to you.
v1.1
July 2026Builder redesign, team space, and a smarter share page
- New lineup builder: autosave (no more Save button), tap-to-assign for placing players alongside drag-and-drop, and quieter chrome so the sheet stays the focus.
- Scratches, coaching staff, and line/pair counts are now saved per game instead of resetting or bleeding between games.
- Team space reorganized into Roster, Games, and Settings tabs — Games is now the team home, with each game owning its own lineup and its own share link.
- Finalized games lock as read-only snapshots so past lineups can't be edited by accident.
- Share links are now pinned to a specific game rather than always pointing at "whatever's current."
- Mobile builder now uses a bottom drawer for the bench instead of hiding it.
- Security: tightened data access so team rosters and lineups are no longer publicly readable outside of an explicit share link.
